Fraser is a vibrant, dynamic Eastside neighbourhood, it`s unique crossing of different types of cuisine, small shops and beauty salons with easy access to many other areas of the city.

This neighbourhood is defined by its main access artery of Fraser Street. The Main Street Corridor and Commercial Drive is within walking distance. Head southeast down Kingsway and you’ll reach Joyce-Collingwood, then Metrotown in Burnaby.

Fraser neighbourhood is mainly made up of single-family houses, most of which were built prior to 1940s. Also, you can find there a large number of bungalows that are examples of the residential development in the 80s. In more recent years the low-rise, multi-family strata units, and townhouse complexes were built there.

Fraser neighbourhood is perfect for young families and retirees.

The Elementary schools include Sir Alexander Elementary, McBride Annex, Livingstone Elementary. Secondary schools: John Oliver Secondary School and Sir Charles Tupper Secondary.

Fraser has a lot of green space and recreational facilities: Memorial South Park and Grays Park, a 2-hectare site featuring two tennis courts, a wading pool, lawn bowling greens, a basketball court and even a ball hockey area.
